This song was originally a middle section I wrote to a song called Inside Out from around 1996. I hated the song but loved the middle section, so I grabbed guitarist, Joe Shikany, and drummer, Jeff Kathan and recorded the music at my studio in the Winter of 2004. We all were in Paul Rodgers solo band and wanted Paul to put a vocal on it. He declined.
I've resurrected it for this project. The tune just has a haunting, moody feel. Joe wrote most of the lyrics this time around and vocal melodies for the verse...just a fantastic idea. I added the chorus ideas and the ooohs.
