In Our Hearts Forever, Joe Shikany!
All of us in Sex And Violins are saddened by the sudden loss of our guitar player, Joe Shikany. Joe touched the hearts of everyone he met. He was a kind and loving person, one who's heart had room for the entire world and Joe shared his heart and his passion of life through his music. Joe will be tremendously missed by all that knew him...it is a tragic loss for his band mates, his family, friends and the music industry. His contributions, dedication and commitment to his passion for playing will live on in our hearts and minds. Rock on Joe...we love you and will miss you!

Our own, Lynn Sorensen (vox/violin) of Sex And Violins, will be replacing the late Boz Burrell on bass and joining Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, and Simon Kirke for a one off Bad Company show in Hollywood, Florida on August 8. The show will be at the Seminole Hard Rock.

Hello to All of Sex and Violins' Friends and Fans!
We are excited to announce that Sex and Violins will be playing Hempfest 2008!
Sex and Violins will be taking stage at 7 p.m. on the McWilliams Stage sponsored by Funky Monkey on Sunday, August 17!
Seattle Hempfest if held at Myrtle Edwards Park on the beautiful Seattle Waterfront just north of Pier 70 at the corner of Alaskan Way and Broad Street. See more info on directions-here-.
Event hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission to Seattle Hempfest is FREE!

Eva reaches 19 on the IAC Big 50
Lynn and Jeff would like to thank all the people who tuned in to the Paul Rodgers webcast from the El Dorado in Reno on New Years eve. 83,000 people were on line! It will more than likely be our last show playing with Paul for some time as he is going out with Queen and we will be out with Sex And Violins. It will be a wonderful 2008!

Sex and Violins song Eva has rocketed up to 36 on the IAC Big 50 in a little over a week. It's a cool Cajun style of blues rock track with some classic Zeppelin overtones. Big guitar production and a sweet harmonic vocal delivery.
